Wrestling Coming Soon!

The PAA Wrestling Open Practices start in less than a week! First two weeks open for all to try. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at John Poole Middle School 6:00 - 7:30 November 12th through the 22nd.

We are excited about some new changes this season. All girls and boys K-8 welcome, come just practice or compete. Wrestling is a great sport to build confidence, body control, strength, conditioning for other sports and more. You will be amazed at what your children can do!

Wrestling is a family environment, we have multiple hands on coaches, lots of participation from our high school team, and the community! Please contact Colin Benson for any questions and visit the PAA website, http://www.paafalcons.com. No need for formal registration at this time, we will have signup sheets for the first two weeks.

Poolesville Athletic Association (PAA) Sportsmanship Reminder

Gentle reminder regarding behavior at PHS and PAA home games.

PHS Home Games - Players wearing their jerseys are allowed to attend PHS home games for no charge.

We emphasize that behavior during these games, both on and off the field, is expected to make PAA and the Poolesville community proud.  It is advised that a parent is in attendance for every 4 or 5 kids for everyone's safety.  The PHS staff have made it clear that any players causing trouble will result in this privilage being revoked.

PAA Home Games - Please make sure you are monitoring kids during home games.

Recent home games have resulted in incidents involving children.  Please note that the coaches and commissioners are in no way responsible for managing the behavior of children and their emphasis is ensuring the MMYFCL rules are being followed.

Please remember we are guests of the High School, and want to keep our good relationship with them.
